The Role

As Rapidata continues to grow, we are in search of a talented and motivated Data Science Intern to become an intergral part of our dynamic team. The internship is a chance to engage in research-oriented projects that will significantly enhance Rapidata's core technology. You will not only focus on an independent project under the guidance of a supervisor but also contribute to our daily tasks, ensuring a well-rounded experience. Your work will have a direct impact on the growth and success of our product. Additionally, for those interested, this internship offers the possibility to be formulated into a master's thesis.

Your Profile

  • Currently a University student at the Master level in Data Science, Computer Science, Robotics, Statistics, or related fields.

  • A positive, problem-solving attitude, capable of proposing innovative solutions and thinking outside the box.

  • Passion for working in a startup environment, valuing innovation, agility, and a hands-on approach.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • A proactive approach, taking initiative and ownership of projects and tasks.

  • Proficient in Python.

  • A solid understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts.

  • Ability to work in our Zürich office.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with databases, particularly MongoDB.

  • Familiarity with .NET and React frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Play a significant role in the development and improvement of Rapidata's core technology, with a focus on analysis, filtering, and processing of data collected through our platform.

  • Running experiments on new customer data with the aim to improve our efficiency.

  • Engage in academic and research-oriented tasks, adaptable to your interests and project needs.
